Parking Restrictions

The City of Moncton will be modifying the parking restrictions on Stone Avenue. 

On-street parking will be permitted on the south side of the street from April 16 to November 30. 

On-street parking will be prohibited on the south side from December 1 to April 15 to support snow clearing operations. The restriction will be in effect when signage is installed. Due to the narrow width of the street, on-street parking on the north side will remain prohibited at all times.

The City of Moncton will be adding parking restrictions on John Street. Parking will be restricted at all times on both sides near the High Street intersection. The restrictions will be in effect when signage is installed.  

This measure is necessary to facilitate traffic operation at the signalized intersection.

The City of Moncton will be adding parking restrictions on Martin Street. Parking will be restricted at all times on both sides near the Mill Road intersection. 

Parking restrictions are needed for traffic operation and to ensure clear sightlines at the intersection.

The City of Moncton will be adding parking restrictions on Redmond Street. Parking will be restricted at all times on both sides near the McLaughlin Drive intersection.

The City of Moncton will be implementing parking restrictions on Grant Street. Parking will be restricted at all times on both sides near the intersection with McLaughlin Drive and the bend to Joyce Street. 

Parking must be restricted near intersections and bends to ensure proper sight lines and driver visibility, improve traffic operations and for fire trucks to turn.

The City of Moncton will be implementing parking restrictions on Belfry Street. Parking will be restricted at all times on both sides in the curves.

The City of Moncton will be implementing additional parking restrictions on Sheffield Court. Parking or stopping will not be allowed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday on the north side of the street, 10 metres from the intersection of Evergreen Drive. The period of the parking restriction on the south side of the street will also change to restrict parking or stopping from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (currently 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). 

Parking or stopping must be restricted near the intersection and the bend to improve driver visibility for safe passage of all road users, particularly during this high traffic period of the day.

The City of Moncton will be adding parking restrictions on Mitchner Avenue. Parking will be restricted at all times on the west side of the street. 

Parking on both sides of the street cannot be accommodated on Mitchner Avenue due to the street width and traffic volumes.

The City of Moncton will be modifying the parking restrictions on the west side of Cedar Street. Parking will remain restricted within approximately 25 metres from the intersection of Mountain Road. Otherwise, on-street parking will be allowed anytime.

The City of Moncton will be implementing parking restrictions on Ross Court. Parking or stopping will not be allowed in the cul-de-sac from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Also, parking will be restricted at all times within 10 metres from the intersection of Bissett Avenue.

The City of Moncton will be implementing parking restrictions on Carlyle Street. Parking will not be allowed anytime on the North side of the street.

Parking on both sides of the street cannot be accommodated on Carlyle Street because of the narrow nature of the street.

The City of Moncton will be implementing modifications to the on-street parking restrictions on Lynch Street. The modifications are as follows:

• The existing 2-hour parking zone on the south side of the street will be replaced with a no parking or stopping zone from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. On-street parking in this zone will remain permitted without any duration limits during weekday evenings/nights and weekends.
• A section of the existing non-parking zone on the north side of the street will be replaced with a 2-hour parking zone.

These modifications are intended to improve safe passage of all road users, particularly students, during this high traffic period of the day.

The City of Moncton will be adding parking restrictions on Monaghan Drive, between the Forest Glen School drop-off zone and Glencoe Dr. Parking or stopping will not be permitted on both sides of the street from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. 

This restriction is intended to improve safe passage of all road users near the school driveway, particularly during this high traffic period of the day.

The City of Moncton will be adding parking restrictions on Penrose Street near Ryan Street. Parking will be restricted at all times on both sides near the Ryan Street intersection.

Parking restrictions are needed for traffic operation and to ensure clear sightlines at the intersection with Ryan Street.

The City of Moncton will be adding parking restrictions at the intersection of Kendra Street and Hopper Street. Parking will be restricted at all times on both sides of Kendra Street at the intersection. Parking will also be restricted at all times on both sides of Hopper Street upon approach of Kendra Street. 

Parking restrictions are needed for traffic operation and to ensure clear sightlines at the intersection and crosswalk.
